XR500 readyshare not working
Under This PC i would try to get into the hard drive by typing \\readyshare in the address bar and get the following error
Windows cannot access \\readyshare
Check the spelling of the name. Otherwise, there might be a problem with your network....etc.
Funny thing is.....the XR500 does show under this pc under network locations. It won't show all files for some reason.
I've done everything that I've read........
Windows credentials.
//readyshare
user name of my windows PC
password of my windows PC
Then i've tried to turn on the SMB 1.0 under windows features.....iv'e done just the client and i've done all 3.

I actually i think i figured it out late last night.
Control Panel > System Properties
To use wizard to joing domain or workgroup, click Network ID button.
It was under business newtork, i switched it to Home Computer.
When I looked this morning it went back to business. I don't know if it kick started something.
After turning the computer that night, and the next day it did it again. I could make it come back by doing all the tricks, even restting the router to factory settings. But it just magically comes back up. Netgear needs to work with Microsoft to see what is really going on.
