Xr500 reset settings

Hi there,

I'm having issues with my ping under load and regularly FIFA on Xbox feels dramatically less responsive when video is streaming. I've installed firmware 120 and erased and reset but I've noticed my QoS settings all remain and I get an error when opening it -device not found. How would you advise? Feel like it's not actually reset properly and not sure how to proceed.

Thanks!

  • How are you resetting the XR500, from the interface or from the pin on the back of the router?

We are aware of an issue where QoS settings aren't being completely reset with a factory reset so we're working on that one, sorry about that.

Are you still able to get past the error message and configure QoS?

Would it also be possible to send over a screenshot of a completed connection benchmark?

I've reset using the interface using the "Erase" function - would the pin hole work better?

Cant seem to add any devices to QOS - it just constantly loads - I guess I'll have to downgrade to the most recent dumas os v2 and reset?

General speeds seem down from my maximum capabilities too. usually get around 70-72mbps speeds but cant get close to it at the moment.  Upload seems fine though.  The connection test is done directly from the router right?

From the interface, click the three-dot menu in the top right of the interface and under advanced click 'Factory reset'.

Then setup the router again and see if this helps.

If not, yes downgrade then reset this way again and let me know if any/what issues are present.
