XR500 Still lagging

Question

so i bought the xr500 and i got it yesterday, i set it up and everything. but im still having lag spikes, it takes even more time to get into a lobby and i have a higher ping than i did before, i have xfinity wifi and i live in boston..... im not very good with stuff like this, i just need help (pics of my settings)

How is your Xfinity modem/router setup? Is it in modem, bridge mode or are you using the DMZ? Do you still have devices connected to the Xfinity? Remove the manual rule you've done for Traffic Prioritization as it is already being prioritized by DumaOS Classified Games. Are you seeing icons on the Geo-Filter Map when you are playing? What is the average ping you're seeing on the Geo-Filter?

i think its in modem. yes i still have&nbsp;devices connected to the main router. yes im seeing a few diffrent icons. i dont see a ping in the geo-filter but in-game the average is 40-50

If it's in modem mode then other devices wouldn't be able to connect to it. First switch all devices to the XR500 - if they're not connected then the router can't control them and that will cause lag otherwise. Then go on to the Xfinity interface and see if you can switch it to modem or bridge mode, if not then use the WAN IP of the XR shown in System Information and put that into the DMZ on the XR. On the Geo-Filter switch Ping Assist to 0 in the map settings.
