XR500 unable to securely connect
I’m having issues connecting from my current providers router via RJ45 into the XR500 the internet maintains and continues red.
Have you gone through the Setup Wizard to gain a connection?
I have tried going through Set up wizard as prompted but it cannot get a connection. Although we are connected on the PC it cannot gain any internet connection and is not secure.
I have checked the set up we have is correct with all included instructions so cannot see the problem.

- Sounds like PPPoE is required, go to Internet setup and configure it manually
- Thank you. This has now resolved the internet issue but when I am gaming on my Xbox Console I now have double Nat issues and cannot get any party chat.

It’s a good idea to put your ISP’s modem/router into ‘bridge mode’ or ‘modem mode’ if you can.
