XR500 V2.3.2.56 Hybrid vpn to purevpn is not working
I am trying to Negear XR500 (Router firmware latest version XR500 V2.3.2.56) Gaming router with Purevpn using Hybrid vpn client and it is not working. It is throwing certificate and TLS issues below....
Yes, it is the same issue on both TCP and UDP. I also tried with several different server locations but no luck. It just hungs at connecting. I was thinking that multiple reboots may fix the problem, unfotunately not though.
Could you try downloading a PureVPN config from their website and using it with the advanced section please and see if it allows you to connect? Might be that we need to update the configs we have on file.
I am not sure I am familiar with that process, could you please provide the steps.
- 1. Download OpenVPN configuration file from the PureVPN website
2. Open the file of the server you want to connect to and copy contents
3. Add your device to Hybrid VPN, click advanced
4. Paste config, enter username/password for purevpn
