XR500 what should I do? Upgrading Modem

By your name I would imagine lol I absolutely love the xr500 I have no problem with it I just didn't know if Wi-Fi 6 or 6E would be a good thing for me to invest in now while I had the extra money which is why I asked about upgrading the router also have Dumas 3.0 firmware on my xr500 never had any issue with it I just want to replace my modem combo that I have and if I'm going to spend $250 on a new modem the CM 2000 I just thought that I would ask input on what my best options would be I don't mind spending the extra on a new router too or the router if it's going to upgrade my gaming experience that's all
Glad to hear you love it! I mean it really depends, do you have devices now that could benefit from WiFi 6? If not do you plan do have any in the not too distant future? If the answer to either of those is yes then getting a WiFi 6 router such as the XR1000 would be a good investment. If not then may be best to hold off for a little while until it is more suitable for your network.
