XR500 with C6300 Modem Router
Is the C6300 compatible with the XR500? If so is there anything I should know?

The XR500 is compatible with every normal modem really. Just be aware that unfortunately your modem has the infamous Puma 6 chipset, which has documented issues: https://www.approvedmodems.com/do-not-buy-list.html
