If it's saying you have an internet connection then you can skip the speed test part and enter the speeds you pay for/expect and it will work. Sometimes it can't always detect the speeds.

It’s not picking my connection up iv tried about ten times it’s not getting a connection it’s must be a faulty router if that is the case or there is no solution ? It’s not picking it up on anything it’s letting me into the app offline but when I try to connect it ain’t connecting to my internet iv hardwired it to my PS4 and it wont pick up the internet it’s saying internet connection failed. But I have another internet router down stairs which I am plugged into just now because mine isn’t working and it’s letting me join to that so must be the router
- Netduma-FraserDec 13, 2020NetDuma PartnerDo you know if you require anything specific to gain a connection such as PPPoE, VLAN etc?
- Andybrenn1989Dec 13, 2020AspirantNo it’s been up and running for a while and Unplugged it and plugged it back in and it started not working so I have no clue what the issue is I’ve rebooted it it back to factory settings and that’s still not worked I’m using the netgear modem too but everything was working fine until three days ago I’m stuck here with no internet in the room I game now for the past three days it’s a disaster I have had nothing but trouble with this router and iv also read online a lot of people complaining about the same thing by the sounds of it. I’m dsl to my modem then Ethernet to my router then Ethernet to my PS4 but it ain’t picking up WiFi or anything
- Andybrenn1989Dec 14, 2020AspirantDo you think it could be the modem that isn’t working properly ? It’s a dm200 Vdsl netgear modem
- Netduma-FraserDec 14, 2020NetDuma PartnerIt is certainly possible, do you have another modem you could try with?
I'd suggest you follow this guide to re-upgrade the firmware using TFTP, this will bypass any issues in the boot process and then do a factory reset after the upgrade so you have the freshest install. Then literally just go through the setup wizard and don't change any other settings and see if it all works properly then.
