XR500
I like to whitelist some Mac addresses but I can't seem to find the option on the router software. Any Ideas?

- There is no option to do that on the XR500, what is the reason you like to do that? Perhaps I can think of an alternative that achieves the same outcome.
I need to block some devices from using the network... At my home, I have a business and a Home network. My kids keep using the business and not the home. Even if I change the password they keep at it. So I was going to use the Mac address to block the devices plus around my neighborhood we have some hackers and can use it that way too.
- Devices like iPhones, Android phones and even Windows devices connecting via WiFi all have an option now for private/randomized MAC addresses for when they connect to a WiFi network so each time they connect it will appear like a new device so that wouldn't really work.
What I would suggest would be to make them disable those options, get all the devices you want to connect to the network connected, give them all reserved/static IP addresses then disable DHCP. That way only devices who have those IPs can connect. There is a workaround for everything though, they could set a static IP on the device itself that they want to connect with, just depends if they know to/how. Coupled with very strong WiFi/interface passwords that's probably the best you can do. You can use the Device Manager to block a specific device as well if needed.
