XR700 dhcp keeps crashing

The DHCP server on our XR700 keeps on stopping; it works again after powercycling but can stop any time between an hour and 24 hours later. I see that a number of others have had a similar problem but I can't find the solution. Have tried a factory reset but there is no change. Can anyone help please?

  • Could you guys please try reserving IP addresses for the devices that are disconnecting? Then see if they continue to disconnect after this.

      Thanks for all the advice

The reserving of ip addresses did not seem to work. What did seem to work is

      • moving the netgear router farther from the WAP from AT&T
      • restarting the extender (I had restarted the router but not the extender.

Not sure which of the 2 items helped as I did both around the same time.

Disable the wifi radios on the ATT router. IF these are running then this would be causing noise and interferences with the XR wifi. Recommended to use the wifi on the XR router and disable the ATT modems wifi. Try option #2 as suggested.

    Any progress on this?
