XR700 r-apps not loading
Hi Guys, Looking for some help on r-apps not loading on the XR700. I see there is a closed thread on this already but does not give me much information. Is anyone able to help on this one? ...
- Hi Nige, what pages is this happening on? In System Information on the R-App panel, change in the options the retries to 5 instead of 3 and then reboot the router.
That is great to hear! I am surprised at all to be honest that worked as that feature only works for HTTP and most sites now use HTTPS. I would look into using DynamicDNS which you can use with the router to provide some parental security.
Any good DynDNS provides that would work? Would it be worth it to look at Circle? Maybe Cisco Umbrella?
- I haven't used DDNS myself in a parental capacity so I couldn't say exactly, comes down to whether you want something free/paid and what they can each offer compared to your needs.
