XR700 r-apps not loading
Hi Guys, Looking for some help on r-apps not loading on the XR700. I see there is a closed thread on this already but does not give me much information. Is anyone able to help on this one? ...
- Nov 17, 2019Hi Nige, what pages is this happening on? In System Information on the R-App panel, change in the options the retries to 5 instead of 3 and then reboot the router.

Yea seems to be the issue is the Nintendo i had the XR500 and I didn’t have that problem so I followed what you said to do and it worked great, but that’s a huge issue for people who buy this product just to use it as a router. Netgear should not be sending out products that don’t work it’s been months of these threads and they still haven’t done anything for the people who actually bought this item or even acknowledged to fix the issue which is crazy on so many levels because this Xr700 is 500 dollars this should never happen with any company with products this expensive.

I have a Nintendo Switch but it is not even on - it is actually dead and has been for weeks. ANY ROUTER THAT DOES NOT FIRST DO NO HARM IS A LIABILITY and not an asset. Changing a device type in device manager should not make the router treat that device differently in any way - it should only exist for labeling purposes.
It has been 6 days since I reset the XR700 and added my DHCP reservations for every device. That has helped it to last more than a day - but not much past 6 days it appears. I now am getting the R-Apps not loading issue again. I bought this thing in December and ever since, it has been a headache. I called Amazon and they are waiting on hold for me to talk to Netgear. We were #28 in one queue and then we had to join a different (Nighthawk) queue after the Amazon rep spoke to someone.
An update/fix for this should be immediate.
