Redrum215 I'm not aware of any specific WiFi issues affecting the beta.
PhantomHelix where are you running into trouble installing the firmware? You download the file, access the router interface, go to Settings > Administration > Firmware Update and upload the .img file and you're good to go.

This is the worst router I ever had. I was running on firmware 1.0.0.20 for a long time since wifi actually worked most of the time and I had no issues with wired connections. Then it start messing up for no reason. I decided to up the firmware and that worked great for a day then wifi didn't work and none of my wired connections worked. When I updated the firmware I made sure to reset it and set up everything. I decided to try the beta firmware and it worked for two days then wifi and wired connections went down. I reset the router and setup everything and it stood the same. I then went back to firmware 1.0.0.20 and for a few days it worked great. But now I'm literally resetting the router daily just to have internet. At this point I need a refund or class action lawsuit!

Dhcp has been dead for days. Rebooting stopped working a month ago and I just can't stomach the thought of resetting factory defaults and setting it up again for it to do the same thing 30 ish days later.
Count me in for a class-action law suit. Happy to take this on. - Netduma-FraserMay 15, 2021NetDuma PartnerRedrum215 RamjetX I'd recommend upgrading the firmware using the TFTP method, if there are any issues in the boot process which there could be then this will bypass it, then do a factory reset once more for the freshest installation possible. https://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-to-upload-firmware-to-a-NETGEAR-router-using-Windows-TFTP

If i try the standard web interface method it simply fails, if i do the TFTP method it appears to go correctly however when i check in the web interface the version number is exactly what it was on before and the settings have not been reset to factory ( I tried this 3 times ) and the TFTP method is inexcusable as a solution for the average customer
I Am telling you, this hardware is so inconsistant from the factory that your software can not function properly no matter how well you code it because you just account for that much varriance
I think I am at the classaction point as well - Netduma-FraserMay 16, 2021NetDuma PartnerIf you're uploading the same firmware it will appear that way, you need to do the factory reset after you've done, it won't do it automatically. If it's a hardware issue then TFTP won't work and I'd recommend you pursue a replacement/RMA with Netgear.

I will try this later but I noticed the DHCP lease renews every 24 hours. After that I have to factory reset as wired and wireless devices can connect. If thats the issue, why is DHCP limit set to only 24 hours? Why not forever or a month? It seems like once the renew happens with DHCP, the router does not assign the devices new ips and then nothing connects.
- Netduma-FraserMay 16, 2021NetDuma Partnerjohn2286 that is the NG default time, I don't know why they've set it like that personally. I'd suggest you change the DHCP range to something like 192.168.1.50 - instead of 192.168.1.1 then reserve IPs for devices outside the range so from .2 - .49, that may resolve the issue you're having
