What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too?
What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?Might try downgrading to v20...

It is definitely the router. I switched to a tp-link mesh system and have not had any problems in over two weeks. I hope a future firmware update fixes this issue.

Has the router ever performed correctly? It could easily be a hardware issue, which might be worth contacting NETGEAR about.
- logan_001Jul 16, 2019AspirantI also have XR500 and it acts the same way.
- Netduma-FraserJul 16, 2019NetDuma PartnerHave you been added to the beta and seen if it's been resolved on the XR700 with the latest firmware?
- logan_001Jul 16, 2019AspirantYes I have been added to the beta. The firmware did not solve the issues. I think it actually made it worse.
- Netduma-FraserJul 16, 2019NetDuma PartnerIs this using the very latest firmware released in the last week? Make sure to post there to let the team know what is happening
- logan_001Aug 12, 2019AspirantI'm beyond frustrated with this router. Every software version makes it worse or unusable. Are there actually people out there who own this router and everything works as it should? Is it possible I got a lemon from the factory?? It was preordered and arrived as soon as it was released.
- WFHguy07Aug 12, 2019AspirantLogan, I’m having same issue with my newly purchased XR700. Connection drops like there’s not tomorrow. Support doesn’t know how to fix it. I’m on .20 firmware. Don’t know what to do at this point. Might return it.

Guys, they recently released a Hot-Fix. It's the same firmware version that you can get in the beta program:
https://kb.netgear.com/000061118/XR700-Firmware-Version-1-0-1-18-Hot-Fix
Note: Make sure you perform a factory reset right after you update your firmware.
- logan_001Aug 12, 2019AspirantI tried the .18 hotfix and it also had the same problems, however I did not do a factory reset this time after installing. I will try this later today. The other versions I did a factory reset and it didn't make a difference.
- -Donovan-Aug 12, 2019Luminary
Ok, let us know what happen once you perform the Factory reset.
- logan_001Aug 12, 2019AspirantI keep getting "You are currently logged in from another device. There can only be one device logged in at a time. If you log in from this device, the other device will be logged out. Do you want to proceed. "
I'm only using one device to log in. Every few mins the message come back again. I have factory reset 2 times since upgrading to the .18 version. - Netduma-FraserAug 13, 2019NetDuma PartnerDo you have the interface open in another browser window on the same device by any chance?
- logan_001Aug 13, 2019AspirantNo I did not. That problem seemed to go away overnight. Once again I'm getting "This R-app is not loaded yet, please try again in a minute."
This is on the hotfix .18 - Netduma-FraserAug 13, 2019NetDuma PartnerWhat pages specifically does it happen on and does it occur all the time or just after a reset/reboot?
- logan_001Aug 14, 2019AspirantIt is on the entire geo-filter, Los, device manager, network monitor, hybrid VPN (which i don't use but it doesn't load regardless). It has occured since I installed the hotfix .18. Guess I'll downgrade once again.
- Netduma-FraserAug 14, 2019NetDuma PartnerThat's very strange, it shouldn't be much different from the normal .18 firmware. Does it not occur on .18 at all?
- logan_001Aug 14, 2019AspirantEvery version is hit and miss. One thing works then something else doesn't. I only tried the .18 hotfix this last time.
- Netduma-FraserAug 14, 2019NetDuma PartnerOkay well keep us posted if it happens on the standard .18 firmware.
- logan_001Aug 15, 2019AspirantFactory reset, loaded .18, next day I can't even get into the interface. Tried multiple browsers, clear cache, cookies, tried incognito mode to no avail.
Is the software this buggy or could this be a hardware issue? - Netduma-FraserAug 15, 2019NetDuma PartnerYou seem to be getting more issues than most that's for sure so it could be hardware. What PC operating system are you using?
- logan_001Aug 15, 2019AspirantWindows 10
- Netduma-FraserAug 15, 2019NetDuma PartnerOkay that's fine, what do you mean exactly by you can't get into the interface?
- logan_001Aug 16, 2019AspirantIt looks like it will load but never does. I think I'm going to try to get a replacement. I was looking at my old tweets at you guys and looks like I've always had problems the xr700.

Try connecting to the router using the IP address instead of routerlogin.net
Usually this is 192.168.1.1, but it might be different. Open command line and type ipconfig if you're not sure. The Gateway address is also the address to access the DumaOS interface.
Also try private/incognito mode in your browser, and maybe different browsers. Sometimes the issue is caused by cached content.
