What was the reason for the reboot?
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.
How do you have the LAN DHCP features and Wireless settings configured?
What channels are you using? Auto? Try Auto and 48 on 5Ghz. Or try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

Thanks for your reply. I don't have any issues with the WiFi. It's just the stability overall and fact that the router still has some bugs and the interface is so slow to work with. The topic I was supposed to reply to is about the lack of VPN.
Overall it just doesn't feel as a high tier router.

Maybe if you gave some feedback to the questions presented we can help you with your router stability issues. I've not seen any instability issues with my XR1000 since putting it online back in Oct. Running well. Should be going on 10 days up time since last reboot I did.
Though I agree, logging into the web page is slow however it does eventually appear.

Netduma-Fraser thanks again for the reply and the work everyone is putting in this update. Looking forward to it 🙂
Most of the issues that I have described below. My network is optimized by a professional about two months ago. So all cables Cat6 and most devices are connected wired.
- Biggest issue so far: factory reset after reboot yesterday.
- VPN: I was expecting VPN on this router as other nighthawks seem to have this. But, unfortunately it's not there. However, I understand that this is coming in the new update.
- Geo Filter:
- at one point it stopped working. Following instructions on the other thread fixed it for me (removing gaming device and resyncing cloud)
- Still I'm not sure if it's always on. Sometimes I see servers popping up on the interface when gaming, other times nothing happens.
- Ping in the game (COD Warzone) is always higher then what router is telling me)
- When doing connection benchmark, most of the time speed and ping is A+. However, under load it's always under performing (D). It's unclear how I can improve this and what is causing it).
- Since I have this router it feels to me that often something is going wrong with IP reservations. Devices are acting funky after a reboot of the device (e.g. raspberry PI, Musiccast speakers). Some devices have multiple IPs connected to them, in some cases looks like double assigned IPs.
- Reason for reboot this week: NAT was moderate again on PS5 while I didn't make any changes. Now (after the reset) UPnP seems to be doing it's job again and NAT is OPEN again.
- Very slow app: checking something in the app is very slow and painful.
