Can log into Orbi via web browser, can't login via app

I've had an Orbi for more than 6 years, and have always been able to log into the admin console via Safari on my Mac. I just bought a new Orbi setup, and when I launched the app on my iPhone, it want...

Unlike the web browser login, In the app you need first to login to your netgear account (user name is usually you registered email) then you need to provide the Orbi credentials.
In the web GUI you only need the Orbi credentials to login

    No, the app fills in the user name with admin, then asks for the admin password.

      In the app, under >> Account Management >> Login Settings >> Do you have Two-Step Verification enabled? 

      If not, then I recommend you to activate it and set the device as trusted device.
