Can't sign in on my IPhone to get Orbi APP. I set up my account on my IMac it won't on my iPhone

Can someone tell me why I can not use my user ID and password on my IPhone. Each time I try it tells me that account is already setup which is true. I set it up on my IMac. When I get my Orbi system on Wednesday I'll need to download the App on my IPhone and it wants me to set up another account...WHY ??

    Hi patella, 

     

    Your new Orbi system will need to be registered to your email address. You will then be able to log into the Orbi app using the email address already setup. The email address used should be the one you use to log into your MyNETGEAR account.
