can't use orbi app, won't accept default password, logon times out

after resetting Orbi Router RBR50v2, I can't use the Orbi app it won't accept the default password, it says 'logon timed out'. Rebooting the router, or resetting it again does not help. BUT my phone...

I updated my Orbi app on iOS just now and I was FINALLY able to log in to my Orbi router. Seems to work as expected.

    Good to hear. What version of the app was updated too? 

    Does Local and Anywhere Access work with the app?

      I don't know about versions, a notification came up, and I downloaded the update. I opened the app and was able to login. I only checked that I can see my devices connected to the router.
