How do I disable these new device notifications?
Just yesterday, I started receiving notifications from the Orbi app when a new device connects to my network. How do I disable these notifications?
Well, I don't want to disable all notifications. I can't believe there's no option to disable this specific notification type.
It's all or nothing. Seems to be something fairly new as I do remember seeing this as well and users have asked about this feature.
It might be helpful to know
- which specific model of Orbi system this is
- which firmware version is running on it
- on the Orbi web management interface, does the Attached Devices screen show that Access Control is enabled or disabled (just above the list of satellites)

Nothing blocked. Do I simply need to turn off Access Control?
If Access Control is not enabled, then my guess is that those notifications will cease.
p.s. I have a concern that Smart Parental Controls (SPC) may be enabled (perhaps unintentionally during the original setup). On my Orbi 'app', when I click on the box for SPC, it does not show "Home".
