Installed 970 a few minor bugaboos
First of all these things are enormous, no putting them in a legrand media enclosure like the 6E - too wide. Will need to mount above it. I upgraded my switch to the unmanaged Netgear x508M with 8x1...

And both RBS appear on the RBRs web page under Basic/Connected Devices page?

No just shows 1, see attached, that's what's odd about it, because it's not showing up where it should, in either the phone or MacBook, yet its connected and the only to know that is a couple devices say its getting wifi from satellite 2

Try this, power OFF all RBS and the RBR for 1 minute, then back ON with the RBR. Give 1 minute, then power ON the one RBS that doesn't appear in the RBRs web or Orbi app. Leave the other RBS OFF. Give about 5 minutes while you check the RBRs web page.

Thanks but no go. I even brought it into the same room as the router. I tried without wired backhaul, still same, also paper clipped reset and tried to sync multiple times and nothing. I'm not sure if I got a bad satellite I'll email support. It could be a software glitch too. It's connected it just doesnt show it where it should and calls it failure when try to add satelilite by phone app or laptop. It's there though, because several devices near are connected to it per the individual devices. Other than that, im getting 1.1 GB wifi speed in living room on 1.2GB plan, and im not even in same room as the orbi router and satellites so thats exceptional

I cropped this screenshot, it shows as a device, not a satellite
