"Login denied" from orbi app, even after password reset

I've been unable to log in to the orbi app on a new phone, even after a password reset. After providing my credentials, the app briefly displays a "we don't recognize this device message" and then almost immediately displays a different screen reading "Login denied."

Steps I've tried to resolve on my own:
- password reset
- uninstall and reinstall the orbi app

    Just to confirm, are you able to log into the app and edit the primary phone number in the account settings?
