Magenta status on RBR10
Hi, Recently I bought RBK13 Multiroom Wifi 3-pack for our home. It works fine after installation. But I still have a question about the color of the dot on the Orbi app. The router RBR10 is conne...

Ok
I beleive this is a Orbi app issue. I'll direct you to the orbi app forum from here.
Good Luck.

Please post about this in the Orbi app forum:
https://community.netgear.com/t5/Orbi-App/bd-p/en-home-orbi-app
There are other posts there about Orbi app and the RBR showing PINK.
Also be ware, If your ISP modem already has a built in router, This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT
https://kb.netgear.com/30187/How-to-fix-issues-with-Double-NAT
Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktop
Good Luck.

Thank you very much for your reply.
I read the information you gave me and I realize now that some of the devices, like internet radio, do work through Orbi indeed. So I guess this is due to double NAT issue.
I want to use the modem as is, so with the wifi radios activated. Can I configure the Orbi router as another wifi access point? So, in fact option 3 without disabling the wifi radios on the modem?
Thanks.

The wifi radios on the modem should be disabled so they don't interfere or cause problems with the Orbi system. So yes, you can configure the Orbi for AP mode I believe which would be best for you.

Ah ok. Thanks again.
As mentioned earlier, I still want to use the wifi radios of the modem. Currently both wifi radios (of the modem and the Orbi router) are active and it seems that they don't interfere each other as I do have a proper internet connection on both of them. The only thing is that the Orbi router shows a pink dot on the Orbi app.
So I will try to configure the Orbi router in AP mode anyway while the wifi radios of the modem are not disabled and see what happens. ;)

Just want to give you feedback:
I've configured the Orbi router to AP mode and leave the wifi radios on the router activated. The internet connection via wifi of the Orbi router and of the modem is working perfectly. And on the Orbi app, the router and the satelites get a green dot now! Even the internet radio is also working.
Thank you very much for your quick support.
