Model RBR760
Downloaded the Orbi app and installed system wireless mode using two of my three satellites. Speed test worked correctly on app. Then connected the two satellites with ethernet cable in daisy chain...
The Orbi is located at our small church, and I am currently home. Sorry. I will try removing the ethernet from the RBS next trip to church. I have the Orbi router connected to the modem with the ethernet cable that came with the Orbi. Is the cable that came with the Ordi Cat 6 or Cat 5? Cat 5 cable runs from router to a high speed ethernet switch to satellite one. Cat 5 cable runs from switch to satellite two. The distance between the router and satellite one is greater than 30 feet. Satellite two is greater than 30 feet from satellite one.
The modem is Titan Home model OTRMTh22V1. Internet provided by cell phone tower.
The church is 8100 square feet. The building materials are wood with aluminum siding and cinder block with aluminum siding.
Should be cat5E I think, will have to look at the cable and printing on the cable to confirm.
What is the brand and model of the switches being used?
Need more information or a picture of the modem. Not pulling up that model...
The switch is TP-Link TL-SG105 | 5 Port Gigabit Unmanaged Ethernet Network Switch, Ethernet Splitter | Plug & Play, fan less Metal Design | Shielded Ports | Traffic Optimization.
Internet service provided by Lady Bug. The modem furnished by them is Titan 4G LTE Wireless Router model OTRMTH22V1.mei.
Possible these branded switches could be on cause.
I would try just one RBS directly connected to the back of the RBR temporarily, turn the other one OFF and see if anything changes.
Would need to check cabling that runs out from the RBR to these switches and in between.
Do the RBS appear synced and as "wired" on the RBRs web page?
