Notification Message Quest Wifi Test Deep Link
I am receiving a notification message that reads, "Guest Wifi Test deep link". Does anyone know what this means?

Multiple Push Notifications
20 hours agoEarlier today, Orbi App users were sent multiple push notifications about guest WiFi. If you received one of these notifications, you can safely ignore it. The notifications were sent accidentally during an internal test. We apologize for any inconvenience.

I have an Orbi RBR50 system. I have a guest network that is currently active and broadcasts with a password.
I just received multiple notifications from the orbi app on my phone that said
Guest Wifi PN
Guest Wifi Test Deep Link
That is all the notification says. I can click on the notification and there is no "test deep link" option. I tried searching the forums for that phrase and the internet and came up with nothing except some possible links to internet speed test which does not seem likely.
I turned the guest network off and I still get the notifications.
I have no idea what the message is trying to tell me.
I am getting these constantly as well. It is quite annoying. As a software engineer, I'm guessing someone is testing a software change accidentally using the production notification service.
To keep it from happening, you can turn off notifications for the app until they stop testing.

- Interesting, though, my entire wifi network went down after getting these. Anyone else seen this? I turned everything off, may try later to turn back on.
I have the Orbi RBR40 and I just started getting the exact same notification a few minutes ago too.
So does anything think this is some kind of hacking attempt?
Same here RBR50, either software test going wrong or something bad. I have no guest wifi activated.
I am also having this issue. I've gotten six notifications in the last 20 minutes.
I started to get the same uninformative notifications. I too disabled the guest network thinking perhaps something nefarious was afoot. I too kept getting the notifications even after disabling the guest network. Glad to see I'm not the only one which makes me conclude this is due to an update bug or testing as others have mentioned and not some attempt from an interloper to request the guest password or something, which is what these notifications kinda look like they're trying to say.
Same issue same RBR50. Thought I was compromised.
