Notification Message Quest Wifi Test Deep Link
I am receiving a notification message that reads, "Guest Wifi Test deep link". Does anyone know what this means?

Multiple Push Notifications
20 hours agoEarlier today, Orbi App users were sent multiple push notifications about guest WiFi. If you received one of these notifications, you can safely ignore it. The notifications were sent accidentally during an internal test. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Me too. started about 15 minutes ago. I've gotten about 6 of these on the app on my phone.
I also noticed it very hard to log into the community here, a lot of 504 gateway timeouts.

Attached a screenshot of what's on my phone.
Today I received multiple notifications on my phone as shown here. Any idea what is going on? Clicking on the notifications just takes me into the Orbi application Guest Network page, where there is no notification, alert or message about anything wrong. My guest network is set up and working.

Just got spammed with notifications from my router. First time it happens and it seems very weird. Security issue?
The notification subject is "Guest Wifi PN" and the message is "Guest Wifi test deep link".
Why did I get spammed with these notifications? I'm the only admin in my home, and I didn't touch the router interface for weeks.

I came here for the same notifications. Got 3 of them about 15 minutes ago, and a 4th about 5 minutes ago.
Shut down my guest wifi thinking something was going on. Don't see any other activity on the devices, devices themselves look normal and have MFA setup so no one else attempted login to the admin page.
Seems like Netgear is doing something.
My guess is someone on their Orbi app team is testing in production and they don't know it.
I'm gonna file a support ticket or something to try and get something their way.
Also got a bunch of pings.

Same here. Gotten this 5 times this morning. Guest SSID is enabled but no one is connected to it. We are in a rural location so no one is around to be trying to connect.
Hello. I have the RBK50 router with 1 satellite.. I also have 'Guest wifi" disabled on the admin page.. but recently I have been getting these weird notifications on my phone since I have the orbi app.. Reading this "Guest Wifi Test Deep Link" . I get this notification like once every minute
Does anyone know what that means? Is someone trying to access my router?
Hi. I've used the RBR50 for several years now - works great. But today, for the first time, I started receiving a notification on my phone that I don't understand. The notification title is "Guest Wifi PN" and the text below that reads "Guest Wifi Test deep link". It seemed to be a legit notification on my phone, so I clicked on it and it asked me to login to the app. I began to wonder if this was a phishing attempt, so I did not log in. I tried searching online for what this message means and found no search results. So, I thought I'd try here - is anyone aware of what this message means? Is someone trying to use my wifi? Is it a NetGear test? Do I need to take any further precautions or can I disregard it? Any help or insights related to this would be appreciated - thank you.

I have an Orbi RBR50 system. I have a guest network that is currently active and broadcasts with a password.
I just received multiple notifications from the orbi app on my phone that said
Guest Wifi PN
Guest Wifi Test Deep Link
That is all the notification says. I can click on the notification and there is no "test deep link" option. I tried searching the forums for that phrase and the internet and came up with nothing except some possible links to internet speed test which does not seem likely.
I turned the guest network off and I still get the notifications.
I have no idea what the message is trying to tell me.I am getting these constantly as well. It is quite annoying. As a software engineer, I'm guessing someone is testing a software change accidentally using the production notification service.
To keep it from happening, you can turn off notifications for the app until they stop testing.

Same here RBR50, either software test going wrong or something bad. I have no guest wifi activated.
I am also having this issue. I've gotten six notifications in the last 20 minutes.
- I have an #RBR50 and the app on my iPhone. I do not have a guest network enabled. This morning, my phone popped up with 3 alerts within 4 minutes that all said, "Guest Wifi PN: Guest Wifi Test deep link" I never get Orbi notifications on my phone and this morning I got 3 with no explanation. Google results turn up nothing. Should I be concerned?
I am experiencing the same issue. I'm also getting timeouts when attempting to log into the mobile app to clear the errors.

I just received a notification on my phone "Guest wifi test deep link". I can't find any information on what this means or the results of the test. Does anyone have information on what this message/process means?
My orbi app just sent me a message that I am not sure I know what to do with it and makes me wonder if something happened:
The message got sent three times "Guest Wifi Test Deep Link" - Guest Wifi PN
I searched but I can find no instance of this being mentioned on the orbi site. I also do not have the guest turned on at my house so I am unsure what this is.
Has anyone else seen this message? Is this normal? Why I am getting that link popping up?
