Notification Message Quest Wifi Test Deep Link
I am receiving a notification message that reads, "Guest Wifi Test deep link". Does anyone know what this means?

Multiple Push Notifications
20 hours agoEarlier today, Orbi App users were sent multiple push notifications about guest WiFi. If you received one of these notifications, you can safely ignore it. The notifications were sent accidentally during an internal test. We apologize for any inconvenience.

A deep link is an application term. A deep link will (essentially) take you directly to an app instead of a webpage. Think of if you search "Facebook" on your android phone in Google how you can click the result and it takes you to the Facebook app.
Appears that they were testing a deep link to the guest wifi page in the application. Probably shouldn't have been testing in prod, but I think that the notifications are innocuous (and hey, they worked! Opened straight to the guest wifi page in the app.)

I agree with you that netgear probably conduct testing in wrong environments because all case is reported these 2 day. I am not an experienced app developer but I guest they broadcast the testing message by their notifications server with wrong target group i.e production group, which should be intended be targeted to SIT or UAT devices .
