Orbi 960 iOS app issue

In the iPhone app for the Orbi 960 how do I know what all the random N/A listings are? What are the steps to display the proper device names?

The App uses the MAC ID of the device to try and identify what the device is.   Many devices now have the ability to set up the connection using a randomized MAC ID which affects the ability to identify the device.   Apple products have a few more idiosyncrasies that cause device identification issues.

    Please see this thread:   https://community.netgear.com/t5/Orbi-App/NETGEAR-Mobile-Applications-and-Apple-Devices-FAQ/m-p/2220016#M4304

You will need to turn off those "hide my device" type of items highlighted in that above thread for the device to properly identify them or they may continue to stay un-identifiable if they change that device cloaking ID.

The other option is for you to click on the > next to the device, find the IP address and MAC ID, identify the devices by looking at them and matching MAC IDs, and then manually setting up the device name in the App.  However, if the randomized MAC ID randomizes differently the next time - it will come back up as unidentifiable.
