What Fw version is loaded on the Orbi system?
Yes you can remove devices if there in a grayed out status from the Orbi app. Just means there no longer connected or seen by the app. If you have them and re-connect them at a later point, then they will return and be seen by the app.
Be sure to disable any MAC Address randomizers on phones and pads while at home:

Thank you CrimpOn for your response.I have cleaned up many many not connected devices on the App Device List. System seems to be working better and more smoothly. Still not sure of the "Network" entries on the list. If it's not the 'not connected' devices slowing the wifi down, can you say why the mesh wifi network slows down to the point of making watching TV very frustrating while at the same time my incoming StarLink internet connection tests above 75mbps? Thank you for your time.

Thanks for posting the screen shot. Those two devices are very likely mobile devices which are using a randomized MAC address rather than their hardware MAC address. This is a feature of recent Apple and Android software which is intended to allay fears that "Big Brother" might track where a person has been based on the device connecting to WiFi hot spots. Because of this, the software feature used by the Orbi firmware to identify products based on their MAC address fails. (Also, attempts to reserve IP addresses for devices based on MAC address also get messed up.)
In this case, the Orbi app has defaulted to the term "Network" to describe the device.
A careful examination of the MAC address will probably show it to be very similar to a mobile device that is actually on the network, but which does not appear on the list of connected devices.
Could you please go through the entire list and determine if any devices are missing and have similar MAC addresses?
My first attempt to proceed as you suggested revealed this interesting issue. On the app on my iphone there are listed 27 devices "connected". Of those, 18 have a green dot on the left of the device "name" indicating (I think) they are connected right now to the WiFi. That leaves 9 devices with a gray dot indicating not connected right now. Note this adds up: 18 + 9 = 27. Now I opened the Device listing on the wifi router on my computer (mac) and this list shows 16 devices (with no green or gray indication) plus two satellite Orbi's. Note 16 + 2 = 18 which the same as the number of devices indicated with green dot on my iphone. None of the connected devices shown with a gray dot on my iphone are shown on the device list for the router on my computer. Does this make sense to you ? Am I in good shape even if I don't know it?
