Orbi app doesn’t find router when satellites are wired

I have two RBS50 connected to my Orbi router. When they are on a wireless connection, everything works fine, including the Orbi iOS app. When connected via ethernet cable, weird thing happen: my home WiFi network works fine, but the Orbi app does not recognize it (I get the message "WiFi not detected, even though Local Network is enabled) and my desktop Orbilogin also fails to connect. I am practically blind to my Orbi network. Very annoying. Is there a way around this? TIA.
