Orbi App Error

I am unabe to manage my devices through the App. I had turned off two laptops and now I cannot get back into the manage devices in the App to turn them back on. There is an error code CDIL-API-FAIL

    Either (a) reinstall the app, or (b) use the Orbi web interface, Advanced Tab, Access Control to Allow them.

    There is a community forum for the Orbi app.  I do not see a lot of traffic on that forum, but maybe if the question is posted there someone will have a solution. https://community.netgear.com/t5/Orbi-App/bd-p/en-home-orbi-app
