Orbi App not detecting RBK 753s
The app is not detecting the router locally but if I use remote management option I can see the router and satellites. Is this a bug that needs to be fixed? thanks

I got an update to Android App 2.5.5.1124 earlier today and so far so good. Hopefully it will stay that way.

Well, that was pre-mature. Upgrade to APP V2.5.5.1124 yesterday, and after waiting overnight the wireless access is fine but the APP no longers finds the RBR850. I had a RBR850 reboot yesterday - guess that's why it worked for a while.
The error screen I get is exactly what FURRYe38 posted above
Bummer, Netgear - please help
Thanks

Okay, think we have made some progress.
Installed 2.5.5.1124, rebooted router, so far good for 2.5 days
Thanks all!
- rickv028Jul 23, 2020GuideIt’s still not working for me on Apple devices latest App versions. Netgear please fix!

I check mine today and could not connect. I just rebooted the RBR850 and i can now connect using the Orbi app. Will check this again later today or tomorrow,

I have the exact same issue with an Orbi RBR850. I submitted a Support Case and it was a complete waste of time. The Support representative is just responding with an unhelpful script -- reset the router to factory mode, reset the Orbi to factory mode, try again, etc., etc. We have all tried all those steps already and the problem persists across different models of the Orbi. So, it is either an app problem or there are common elements of the Orbi hardware architecture and firmrware causing the problem. Either way, Netgear should acknowledge that it is a bug and set about fixing it.
