Orbi password/security questions reset from the app

I am using the app on iphone and can login because I saved the password and use facial recognition to login.  However, I can't remember the password and when I go through the security questions somehow get them wrong as well?!  Since I clearly have the password when I log into the app (via face recognition), can I reset the security questions or the password without the old password?  If not, why not?
