Orbi pausing devices

Ok, I have been having major troubles with my setup recently.

I made the mistake of enabling Circle and attempting to set things up for the kids and the adults and associated devices, but soon after this the RBR50 (and/or Satellite) and the Orbi App have been blocking/pausing/crashing...

The router will sometimes go into Purple/Pink light mode, showing a purple/pink light on the top and EVERYTHING is blocked (restart fixes)

Sometimes it (or the Orbi App) will Pause random devices on the net

And Sometimes it will just decided to completely Block the devices.

I have since turned off the parental controls, deleted the circle profiles and devices, removed all references to Circle, but still the problems continue.  Wife is looking at returning the routers and getting something else instead, but I don't have the boxes any more...

Anyway, looking for help with things..

    Hi HatchiNZ,

    Welcome to the community!

    1. What is the firmware version of your Orbi?

    2. Have you tried resetting the device back to factory defaults?

yup, the app (or router) seems to be still randomly Pause devices on the network.  And yes I have installed all the latest updates on Orbi and the devices

  • I do have a suggestion.

    1. On your satellite, press the reset button for 30 seconds. Reset button is on the back.

    2. Turn off the satellite and turn it back on.

    3. Sync the satellite again to your Orbi router.

    4. Observe if you'll still get the problem that you're reporting.
