Orbi problems please help
hi guys. i have had this orbi mesh wifi 3 pack from costco for a few months. im finding a bunch of issues that i can not remedy. was hoping someone in this community could help me with this.
1. is there a way to put a password or biometric lock on the orbi app. seems useless if my kids can access my phone on my wifes phone and turn off or remove there devices from the child block list i have there device on.
2. in the app i purchased the parental controls and made a profile for my kids. but for some reason certain devices will remove them selves from there profile. 1 that always seems to be missing is an apple laptop. i know what everyone is going to say. someone is accessing the app and removing it. but i like to give my kids the benefit of the doubt and say they are not doing this. thats why this question kind of refers back to question 1. a password lock to the app like a banking app would help to rule this out. right now anyone could use my phone and access the orbi app. i even notice specific websites i block will disappear also.
im hoping im not the only one that is experiencing this. any advice or tips?
thanks in advance

My phone must be unlocked in order to access any app on the phone. I use fingerprint authentication until (every so many logins) it forces me to enter the pass code. Do your phones not "lock"?

A valid point. Android phones have apps that can be used to "lock" applications and require biometric authentication, such as:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sp.protector.free&hl=en_US&gl=US (Although I have a vague impression that this is an "Apple Centric" family.)
Assuming that no one is deliberately removing the Apple laptop from the Parental Controls profile, can you verify that the WiFi MAC address of the laptop remains unchanged? One of the frustrating features of recent iOS and Android software is an option (set by default) to randomize the MAC address rather than use the actual hardware address. (Not needing to control my parents, I have not implemented PC, so perhaps this assumption is incorrect... Are devices identified in profiles by the WiFi MAC address?)
