Orbi RBK50 router not connecting to my Plusnet Hub One router/modem via ethernet cable
I have tried resetting my ISP router by powering off (as Orbi instructs) and even pressing the reset button, connecting my RBR50 router (having also pressed the reset button no that also) by ethernet...
The ring light (at the top) of the Orbi router goes through a sequence of colors during startup, which should end with a solid blue light and then no light at all:

It would be worth trying what is called a Factory Reset:

Holding the paperclip in that tiny reset hole for a long time is the key. It may take 10-15 seconds for the Power LED to begin flashing amber.
Thanks so much for this fast response. The RBR50 has no sequencing of lights on top at all - just the white light on and off. Also, thanks for the tip about holding a paperclip in to the Reset button for more than 15 seconds. Holding it in for at least 30 seconds cause no change on the power light.
I'm thinking that the unit may well be faulty.
If you are able to return it, I would do so.
