I'm trying to delete a device in my list i don't want any more when I open it up there is a red delete this device but it does not remove it. i don't want this device to reconnect to my wifi.

  • I figured it out I need to get the device and go not wifi settings and tell it to forget this network.

thanks for your intros to help.

  • It would help to see a screen shot of this.

The goal being to determine where the message appears and compare it against my system. such as

    • Is this on a specific page of the Orbi web interface?
    • Is this on a specific page of the Orbi 'app'?

In general, the only way to prevent a device from connecting to the WiFi network is to change the WiFi credentials, i.e. the 'name' (SSID) of the network or the WiFi password.  Most users have so many devices connected to WiFi that re configuring every device would be a tedious and frustrating experience.

Orbi routers provide a method to prevent specific devices from communicating over the network, but not from joining.
