Orbi RBR40 iPhone App
Yesterday I upgraded my iPhone to 18.4 and I can no longer login to the Orbi app. Everything works fine and I can access my router config via my browser, on my Mac, but unable to access via my iPhon...

vrai1024, you can use the website to unblock your son's iPad. I manage my MAC addresses as well and have had to use the website to make adjustments and it works fine. The UI is a bit different so make sure you are making the change and saving. It works every time for me.
It would be nice to have the app working as I get tired of going to my office to make fixes when it can be easily done from the phone but that is where we are at.

Thank you! Maybe I didn’t save it on the website. I would far and away prefer the app updating but now mine is totally useless since I deleted/reinstalled following instructions on a netgear help page. Maybe orbi will push an app update soon. Anyway thanks again for the reminder to save the changes online. And I am glad to know I’m not the only one having these problems since iOS 18.4.1

I actually had the problem show its ugly head when I upgraded to 18.4. My post here actually got me in touch with Tier 2 NG support who indicated it was a known issue and the hoped to have a fix before the end of the month. Needless to say, they haven't provided one but this is where I say they need to update everyone and reset expectations. Leaving customers hanging, I don't care if this is the way it is done, is wrong. With tech today, it is easy to notify customers with affected s/w or h/w status of the situation. We paid good money for something and when it doesn't work, as sold to us, there needs to be communications.
I hope you are able to use the web I/F to solve your current issue. It should work.

Agree with buzzoff. I get bombarded with far too much information, far too often, trying to sell me the latest Orbi Mesh system. Wish NG would put a small portion of that communication effort into supporting their existing products and their existing customer base.

NG is ware of the issues. And it may take longer than expected as well. Why Mfrs don't give out info on when new fixes are forth coming. I presume there debugging, changing stuff and then has to be all tested. There maybe several iterations of fixes and builds to be tested. So fixes just don't come over night. And it doesn't mean that NG doesn't care either.
It's up to NG to give out information or how to handle all that. NG and other router Mfr do similar things. Little or no info on what they give out. That's up to them. NG runs there company the way they want. Been like this for a long time.
Not the first time a router mfr has had problems and taken time to get it fixed. We can't change that. It's only the app. Otherwise the systems to work. It's just loosing the convenience of the app to help with some remote stuff is all. Something that will be fixed. It's all in NGs hands for now. You'll need to be patient.

Furrye338, obviously the app is still not available but have you heard anything about using orbilogin.com (or .net) not going to the login page to manage the Orbi? It is now taking me to https://www.netgear.com/home/services/orbilogin/ and not allowing me to login and manage my system. Finally got there by going to 192.168.1.1 and could finally login.
