Orbi RBR50 Privacy Separator after software update

Orbi just updated the app on my phone.  Problem is now I cannot print wirelessly from any of my devices.  The Brother mobile connect app says it is a problem with the "privacy separator" on the router.  In looking online and through the orbi when connected on my PC there isn't anything that says privacy separator specifically.  There is an access control section but my printer is already "allowed".  This is frustrating since I can connect to the printer but nothing will print.  Any insight on this?

  • Is Access Control enabled or disabled?  If it is enabled, try disabling it (remember to click on Apply at the top of the page).

What kind of phone and wireless devices cannot print? (Android? Apple? Windows? iPad?  etc.)

There seem to be a lot of internet hits on this "privacy separator" message in relation to Brother printers for all sorts of WiFi systems (Asus, EE, TP-Link, etc.)
