ORBI RBS750 are working on my home network but the Orbi App now want's my "admin" login password
Tried everything and just went around in circles for hours. reset Orbi satalite, have two (one is preppy unaccessable) and both still work based on speed and ability but the app refuses to accept "password" (default) and let me in. Just can't get passed it. Help

Netgear's Orbi product has a number of sets of credentials:
- The WiFi credentials: after selecting the desired WiFi Service Set IDentifier (SSID), the user supplies the correct password to gain access.
- The router web administration credentials: user name "admin" (which cannot be changed) and a password that was created during the initial setup (and many users immediately forget).
- The Orbi 'app' credentials, which are usually the same as the Netgear login (an email address plus a password).
I have observed a number of times when the Orbi app is updated, that it will demand my admin credentials and helpfully supply suggestions that I have not used in years. Or, it will seem to forget the Netgear login that has worked for months and suggest that I use "admin" and a password - which of course are not accepted.
So, if the Orbi 'app' truly wants the web admin password, that is indeed what it wants. If it is simply being stupid, then maybe it wants the Netgear login.
p.s. When the Orbi is set up initially, or is Factory Reset, then the web admin credentials are "admin" and "password", and during the setup users are badgered into changing the password to something that meets more secure requirements. (8 or more characters, upper and lower case, number, etc. etc.)
