Password recovery

Need Help trying to retrive my password to get into my router (admin Password).I have enter the login info "routerlogin.com or net"into my computer, a window to enable the  circle app to come on screen. you have to press enable. Once that happens. The router password recovery window does not pop up. The statement "please wait a moment" pops up with a gear icon spinning below. I Know I have password recovery enabled. I do not want to reset my router due to me having my router set  the way I want. Please help.
