RBK50 not connecting to Orbi App in AP mode

The android app only connects when router is set to router. In AP mode it cannot detect the network. I have no problems connecting via PC Orbilogin so specific to app only. Any advice gratefully recei...

Sorry forgot to add I have it in AP mode because I cannot enable modem only with my ISP hub and beyond that my networking knowledge is pretty much exhausted!

    The App can detect the Orbi in AP mode only while being connected to the Obri wireless. Any other wireless (e.g. from the router) or other APs connected to router LAN ports can't be used.
