RBR40 can't login to ORBI via app

I have been running around in circles and am hoping someone here can help.  I realized that I stopped being able to login to my ORBI app (IOS 16.5 iPhone12) and based on suggestions on this forum deleted the app and reinstalled it.  Now I am stuck trying to login to my orbi using the admin credentials.  For some reason they aren't working at all and I can't find anywhere I can reset them.  Trying the routerlogin.com/.net route doesn't get me anywhere either as it seems like the only thing I can reset there is my Netgear password which is different from the admin login for the actual ORBI.  I have also run into a problem where the router login.com isn't recognizing the password either and then it punts to the security questions page and despite inputting the correct answers to my two security questions that is also failing but there's no obvious way to reset those or do anything about it. 

 

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated as suddenly not being able to use the app or login to the orbi via  webpage at all is super frustrating when it was working just fine not too long ago.

  • After much finagling around...finally got it to accept the passwords and got into the admin panel and have changed everything.  No idea why things seemed to magically start working, but currently solved.
