RBR750 phantom satellite device appeared in Network MAP
mysterious new device appeared in Network Map several weeks ago. Appears in RED color. Details indicate the device is not connected nor has any subordinated devices attached. Labeled as AMAZON-012ee7...

The Orbi app attempts to create "names" for devices which do not have entries in an internal table by inferring something from the manufacturer part of the MAC address plus the last part of the MAC address. Many newer devices have a feature to deliberately replace their hardware MAC address with a random MAC address to prevent tracking. It could be that the first part of the reported MAC address resembles a value that Amazon uses with products but the actual hardware MAC address is not.

If the device appears on the Orbi app Network Map, that would imply that at some point it was recognized as a satellite rather than a device. (Devices appear only in the list of Connected Items.)
It would worth checking the Orbi web administrative interface (http://orbilogin.com) and looking at the Attached Devices page. Satellites are shown at the top. If this device somehow got listed as a satellite but is no longer connected, the status should show as Disconnected and there should be an option to Delete it.
