RBR750 Satellite not connecting

Not very tech savvy, but my satellite is not connecting in my app. The router is visible and firmware is up to date. When I follow the steps to connect the satellite it ends up not finding it. We have reset it multiple times. The light blinks white for a while then it will show steady blue, but in the app it cannot find it?? We have both in the same room while we are doing this. I am stumped and again not very tech savvy.
