RBR850 Orbi Can't connect to Android App

I have a netgear orbi rbr850 with netgear armor installed.  I have a galaxy note 20 ultra that I use to manage through the orbi app.  For the last several months I have note been able to connect to the router via the app.  The app seems to be unable to find the router.  The wifi works fine.  I have an issue in that I set up parental controls installed via netgear armor that shut the router off at various times and I cant manage them without the app.  I have power cycled several times and updated the app via play store multiple times.  I have also cleared the network settings on my note 20.  I have been in communication with the support team but unable to find a solution.  Any help would be much appreciated!  Wait times even on the priority support lines seem very long.
