Re: unable to access the orbi app with correct name and password
Hi all,
I'm having the same trouble as the OP with the Orbi app. Whether I use Android or iOS, I eventually arrive at a login page with a fixed user name of "admin" and a request for my password. As far as I am aware I have never before used such a login, but entering the default password is not accepted. Perhaps another user in this community can tell me how and when they setup their login credentials for this app.

Did you follow the previous answers to the original question?
Are you doing this with a local wifi connect to your Orbi network? Look for Connected Locally in the app.

Many thanks for responding. Yes, I tried a factory reset procedure yesterday. The mesh is working fine, but I still cannot login to the app. I am using the local wifi. Maybe I am getting old, but I do not recall logging in to the Orbi "router". I assume by "router" netgear mean. the base unit. Either way, I have written to netgear suggesting they improve the design of the app.
Have you factory reset the Orbi system and then used the Orbi app to set up the system again and walk thru the setup wizard in the Orbi app and completed it?
Try following this as this is similar issue seen with the Nighthawk app, should work to get the Orbi app connected to the system:
Be sure to disable any MAC Address randomizers on phones and pads while at home:
