Router Advanced Settings (iOS)
When will we have the ability to adjust and manage adv. settings of the Orbi system? While the iOS app is pretty good, and the web browser UI for Orbi could use a refresh, when can the iOS manage more of the necessary settings?

It is tempting to be snarky: "When pigs fly".
Netgear does not announce future products or future software/firmware development. If the engineers are working on changes to the Orbi 'app', we will find out when a new version appears on our devices.
In a technical sense, adding functionality to the Orbi app is not trivial. My understanding is that the Orbi app uses the Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) to communicate with the router (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SOAP )
This means that adding new features to the app requires that the router software has to be modified in sync with the app software. Some Orbi products have reached "End of Life" already. Their firmware is no longer being updated. So, an Orbi app with new features will also have to recognize which features are supported on which Orbi models. The complexity of the effort quickly begins to get out of hand.
