Speed Test Bug in RBKE963 Router UI?
So here is a good one. Opened a ticket. Tier 2 not calling me back. 😞 WAN Network configuration is as follows: Orbi Router -> WAN port -> CAT 8 Cable -> AT&T BGW320 Fiber Gateway - > Passthroug...

There are 'bugs' and there are 'bugs'. I suspect the 'bug' lies in the code on the router which performs the Speed Test and then formats a web page to display the results.
Looking at the web page, clicking on Speed Test does this:
i.e. when clicked, perform "click_adv_action('qos')
Doing this runs the Speed Test, then prepares HTML to display the results.
Clearly the displayed number is incorrect. If I were assigning tasks to software engineers, I'm not sure what priority I would place on correcting it. The forum contains a LOT of discussion about the 960 product in terms like, "FAILURE" , "Can't make it work", "Returning this piece of s***". Does this cosmetic problem affect actual performance?

I get it - I'm in the software business - P0 vs. P3 - makes sense. Seems to me though it should be an easy fix that can be incorporated into the next firmware release. I guess an official acknowledgement or at least other users chiming in and saying "yeah we see the same thing", then I know the router is performing at its fullest potential and this isn't a "one off". I guess we'll see.

My guess is the number of customers with both Orbi 960 and 5GB internet is pretty small. (Maybe one?)
One of the HUGE differences between proprietary software and the Open Source community is how bug reports are 'hidden', sort of like they are trade secrets to be protected. Open Source typically publishes a list of reported problems, including the current status (researching, working on, resolved, etc.) and even who they have been assigned to for resolution. For Profit companies are totally opaque.

...and you're thinking I am the only one? LOL Then that should make me special, no? 😄

Thought I don't have same ISP or ISP hardware, my 9 Series is working for speed testing:
Not quite to spec on the up however it's friday evening here and probably busy around this time frame. I normally see around 50Mbps on the up here.

I think the issue, frankly, is that the engineers did not account for enough space in the user interface for a 5gb speed test download return value?? Not sure what else it could be.
