Thanks for the reply furrye38
I deleted the orbi app from my phone. Turn off the randomizer on my phone. restarted.
the app will not recognize my netgear login. So now I can't log in or even see my home screen until I can log in.
So this is going to take a bit of work to figure out.
Will post when I have more

Would be useful to know if the Orbi app is running on Apple or Android device.
(my memory is not what it used to be... however.....) I seem to recall being annoyed by the Orbi app during initial setup because it forced me to enter two sets of credentials:
- The app wants a valid Netgear login (email and password), however
- it also forced me to enter the router administrative credentials ("admin" plus password).
My (dim) memory is that it was not obvious when it wanted the "admin" credentials and when it wanted the Netgear credentials. (There was a lot of swearing at the time.)
Also, the initial installation of the Orbi app requires that the device is connected to the Orbi LAN. If Anywhere Access is configured on the Orbi app, then it is possible to access the router when not connected to the LAN. Anywhere Access has to be enabled on each device separately (when each is connected to the LAN). Some devices can have Anywhere Access enabled and some might not.
