    they want to install the Tp-Link because it has a multi-gigabit port (but it only has 1x of them). Your RBK750 doesn't. Its limited to gigabit-only speeds. 

    Will it work with your service? Yes. But you won't get full multigig speeds. 

    If you're wanting mesh, you'd need to upgrade. 

    Or you can keep your current setup. It just means you won't be maxing out the 2gig speeds. 

    If you're wanting to max out the 2gig speeds with a mesh system, you'd need to upgrade to the RBK860 series (only 1 multigig port), the RBK960 series (2x multigig ports for in and out), or the RBK970 series (6x multigig ports).
